Popstar marketing and fighting young cops meet in Sunshine Cops, an action-comedy produced by Jingle Ma (Tokyo Raiders). Sloppy plainclothes cop H2O (Stephen Fung) is hand-picked to partner with buttoned-up beat cop Sammy (Ken Chang) to initiate the "Sunshine Cops" program, a media-friendly marketing push meant to give Hong Kong cops a handsome, youth-friendly face. Initially a success, the program hits a rough spot when the boys' friendship with a young high school student (Angelica Lee of The Eye) gets reported negatively by those pesky Hong Kong tabloids.
